Almond Oil
Almonds are widely known as a delicious nut. They are grown extensively throughout the world on almond trees, native to the Middle East and Asia. The Almond tree produces, in turn, the Almond fruit, inside which, the almond seed, or nut is found. This small tree is found from the Mediterranean to California and worldwide there is about 1.7 millions tonnes of Almonds produced annually.
The almond is used both for is culinary usage and for many others. The almond, as a nut, is often eaten on its own, either raw or toasted. In is also used as an ingredient in many delicious culinary dishes - including desert. Almond flavoring is often found in pastries (especially in macaroons) and in ice cream. As an almond is almost half made of oil, there is a great amount of oil that can be extracted from the nut, and almond oil is often made an used for massage therapy and to scent personal care amenities.
