Some foods which fall into that category include: barley, dried bean, dried peas, flax seed, fruits (oranges and apples), vegetables (carrots), and psyllium seed husks.

That's why when we consume healthy meals, such as a bowl of oats for breakfast, we reduce our risk of becoming overweight and we keep our blood glucose levels stable.
