Cease Kick

If you are a smoker, I'll bet that the thought of quitting has crossed your mind many times. I wonder if you have ever considered hypnosis to quit smoking to help you on your journey to become a non smoker? Did you know that you already used hypnosis to help you become a smoker? I'll show you how later in this article.

Many people
think that hypnosis is something that is isolated to only specific instances of you actively seeking help from a hypnotist. But that's not entirely true. Hypnosis happens all the time around you. Television advertising is hypnotic in nature, so if you watch TV you are subjected to hypnotic influence every time you watch.

Did you know that your responses to smoking were programmed in through self hypnosis? Think about what it was like to have your first cigarette. If you're like most of us, your body rejected cigarettes. It flat out refused to respond to smoking as if it was something desirable and enjoyable. You coughed, got dizzy, nauseous. These are not the responses that you would expect if you were doing something that was good for you.

But you persevered for you own personal reasons. And you learned to smoke without all those negative responses. Congratulation! You are capable of learning to do things even when the path is difficult. That's something that's important to remember if you want to quit smoking. And by the way, with hypnosis to quit smoking most people find that quitting smoking is not difficult at all.

Now think about the times that you smoked when you first got started. You were probably in social situations where others were smoking. You were probably younger and you associated fun times, rebellious activities, and familial feelings with smoking. Those feelings became linked with cigarettes. So that when you smoke cigarettes now, just the thoughts, and actions of lighting up triggers off all those positive responses. That's what we call anchored responses.

So when you say that smoking makes you calm or makes you feel good, it's not the cigarette that creates those responses. It's your mind that creates the response and the cigarette is only the trigger for it. What's really cool about this process is that anything can become that trigger. With hypnosis to quit smoking you can easily change the triggers to all the responses that you have built up to smoking.

What about withdrawals? Well they too are triggered responses. They aren't real physical responses from being deprived of the drug nicotine. They are really responses that you have created in your mind to the very mild symptom of nicotine leaving your body. When nicotine leaves your body it let's your body know that nicotine supplies are running low. That produces a mild sense of discomfort. That is easily overcome with any kind of minor distraction. Hypnosis to quit smoking is one of the great and fast ways of re programming those responses, setting the new triggers and increasing the positive feelings you can associate with being a non smoker.

So when you reprogram your mind to respond differently you will avoid any withdrawals that other smokers might feel when they quit. One of the simplest ways to accomplish that is with hypnosis to quit smoking.
