Finding inspiration for do it yourself wedding invitations can be bewildering when you're not feeling particularly creative, but sources of inspiration really are easy to find and often in the most surprising places.

One of my favorite inspiration gems is the home furnishing departments of large stores. Believe it or not, it's the 'home' of cutting edge design techniques and often the first place you'll see design trends appearing. Check out the wallpapers, cushion covers, fabrics and patterns.
