Skin pigmentation and freckles can lead to the lack of confidence. In addition, they can make you feel uncomfortable. It is much easier to prevent these skin problems rather than cure them. Therefore, being aware of peculiarities of your skin, you should think about it beforehand. The main attention should be paid to exposure to sunlight. Before going out on sunny day, apply a thin layer of sun block to your skin. If you intend to take sunbath, do it till lunchtime. Moreover, you should move rather than sleep to make your tan even. Avoid using skin care products, which contain alcohol. Otherwise, the sensitivity of your skin to sunlight can be increased. In order to reduce the sensitivity to sunlight, you should use products containing vitamin C and vitamin PP. These products are pickled cabbage, sweet briar decoction, spring onions, red currant or black currant juice. However, if the skin has become red and a little bit painful, smear it with sour cream or curdled milk. Compresses of peppermint or chamomile tea are going to help, as well. Nevertheless, if skin pigmentation or freckles happen to appear, discover simple home remedies to make them disappear.
- Mix 50 grams of grated horseradish with 250 grams of table vinegar. Fill a jar with the mix and keep it in a dark, cold place. Afterwards, decant the mix and add 1.5 liters of cold water. Rub the skin with the mix twice a day.
- If you have an oily skin, you can clean it with a mix of lemon juice and toilet water (proportion 1:1). Lemon works as a natural skin bleach.
- Scramble egg white thoroughly and mix it with a juice of one medium sized lemon. Afterwards, add a teaspoon of glycerin and half of a glass of toilet water. Apply the mix to the affected skin areas before going to bed.
- Mix equal quantities of lemon juice and fresh cucumber juice. Apply the mix to the bad skin areas 2-3 times a day.
- Mix a teaspoon of lemon juice with a teaspoon of table vinegar at 6% concentration. Add 2 teaspoons of boiled water. If your skin is dry, add few drops of glycerin to the mix. Smear the affected skin areas with it.
- You can wash your skin with a decoction of dandelion blossoms or linden blossom tea.
- Mix horseradish juice with sour cream (proportion 1:1). Apply the paste to the bad skin areas and leave for 5 minutes.
