When you have an oil massage - how much oil does your skin absorb?
If the skin does absorb the oil - does it add to the colories you have consumed through Food? What kind of Oils are safe for a massage?
How much oil skin absorbes greatly varies from person to person, depending on how dry their skin is. I use a mix of grapeseed and sunflower oils and my clients LOVE the mixture. If any calories were absorbed, which I doubt, it wouldn't be enough to make a bit of difference. You can use any kind of cooking oil for massage...you just want to remember to pick something light, such as grapeseed and NOT olive oil! Jojoba oil is also a very popular choice!
