Should I, or should I not take a multi-vitamin and mineral supplament?
There is so much conflicting information about vitamins out there.
I have heard reports that say they are great for you.
Other reports say they could be bad for you.
And still other reports have said that when you take them they basically go right through you and do little or no good at all.
So what's the story on multi-vitamin and mineral supplaments?
it depends on how well you eat. if you are well nourished and eat the "right" foods ie. veggies, meats, milks, breads and fruits. then i would not worry about multi- vitamins. but if you are like me then you might take them. i never get enough fresh veggies or fruits. also i skip 1-2 meals per day often. check out webMD.com or the USDA's web site for the food pyramid.
